Bagrichthys macracanthus – Black Lancer Catfish is a peaceful fish that should be kept in a very large aquarium. They can be kept together with smaller fishes. The aquarium should be planted densely on the sides and background. They need hiding places so you should use some driftwood to set up the aquarium as well. A good filtration and clear water is necessary.

Diet
Since the species has a rather small mouth, it should be fed with small live food. Dry food is also accepted.
Breeding Bagrichthys macracanthus
I couldn’t find anything about breeding them in captivity.
